Zepaltas Wines

On the nose, we get spicy dried chorizo, cinnamon and vibrant black cherry-it sounds odd but it works. Each year we are noting more and more minerality in the wines from this vineyard located just outside the town of Occidental. I like to believe that has something to do with vine age and root depth. The mouth feel has a sandy tannin grip that provides a lingering finish. This wine is powerful in a petite package.
